BASKETRY CABINET

No plans, no drawings and no preset ideas. With only the intention of combining basketry and woodworking I went into the workshop. A cabinet that plays with light and shows a care for detail came out. The doors are woven rattan and ash wood, they open not at the corners as usual but beyond the corner. Because of this the cabinet opens wider and you are drawn into the shelves. The backside of the cabinet is woven ash and placed in front of a window it spreads thin lines of light on the wooden shelves.
